In the beginning of 2010 a Spanish investor hired Studio Arthur Casas to design a restaurant in Rua Oscar Freire, São Paulo’s high end street. The office took part of the conception of the restaurant’s branding, which allowed an intrinsic relation between architecture and gastronomy.
An exception in São Paulo, Oscar Freire is one of the few streets where there’s intense pedestrians’ traffic. The insertion in this part of the city, Jardins’ neighborhood, was essential for the of the project‘s concept: the restaurant should be integrated with the street and the flux of pedestrians, their movement should be noticed......more about the restaurant interior

Restaurant Interior Design | Kanoba | Seychelles | Albert Angel Studio
Inspired by the client's love for boats and our fascination for the underwater life of the Seychelles, Konoba is an extension of the marina where it is located. This versatile lounge, bar and restaurant interior is sculpted by hull-like shapes and geometric wooden patterns, evoking maritime signal shapes and celebrating the art of boat-building. A sculptural shoal of 8,000 stainless steel pieces leads from the entrance to the main space where it culminates in a massive swirling element hanging from the coral-inspired decorative beams above the bar. Anchored in the casual local island lifestyle, the space flows easily from indoors to outdoors, while detailed lighting designs and elements take on dramatically different characteristics from day to night.........more about Kanoba Restaurant Interior Design

The restaurant's minimalistic interior design made of natural decor materials - brickwork of the 19th century, modern concrete, old boards from Russian villages covering the walls and ceiling, opened ventilation and author's lamps.
Olga and Irina Sundukovy aimed to create simple and honest interior design - just as "Fresh's" healthy and honest food is. At the same time they designed the interior which breaks the sectarianism idea of vegetarian food that sounds like "meat-eaters are not belong here". In opposite, 80% of Canadian Fresh restaurants' visitors are non-vegetarian. They are just people who make their choice towards healthy and tasty food...........more about the restaurant interior design

Restaurant Interior Design | L’Idiot Restaurant | Taipei | Taiwan | BAM
The design for the L’Idiot Restaurant Interior consists of two large sculptural objects. These objects, clearly the product of a digital design process, take a new and unique position among today’s architectural installations inspired by the concept for the cuisine. High French Cuisine has become a fashion for food just as smooth digitally driven forms have for architecture. Although entrancing and beautiful, these smooth forms almost remove themselves from the low realms of simple human emotion and basic mental connection. They are elevated to a realm which only few masters can execute on an enjoyable level. Their range of expression is vast, but also esoteric.......more

Restaurant Interior Design | Maximiliano | Los Angeles | Freeland Buck
An Italian restaurant and pizzeria for chef Andre Guerrero, Maximilano is atmospherically distinct; a dynamic triangular space infused with color and evocative of the rich and refined menu. A large mural on the large south wall creates a strong graphic and spatial identity. The rhythm of embossed white stripes shifts from evenly parallel at the ceiling to randomly wavy at the seats, giving a gravitational weight to the wall and emitting vibrant color and pattern. Descending over a door to the patio is a deep porous soffit that undulates over the bar, filtering natural and artificial light and housing the restaurants wine collection.........more
Restaurant Interior Design | Dishoom | London | Afroditi Krassa
Rather than looking into some of the blunt, contemporary architectural offerings of Bombay, the studio drew from the city’s rich past and the honest, resourceful and functional interiors that have developed throughout its chequered history. Old and fading Irani cafés, street stalls and other down-to-earth eateries, all perfect examples of an unexpected and classic Bombay charm, provided the design direction. The logotype pays respect to classic fonts, old school vignettes and the visual appeal of Hindi. The interiors combine elegant, sophisticated and simple lines with an influence from Bombay’s art deco past. The checkerboard tiles, oak panelling, white Carrara marble topped tables and mismatched chairs create a relaxed, democratic café style space, in keeping with the food offering. A strict, monochromatic colour palette has been used throughout; in combination with retro Bombay portraiture and 60s graphical, pop imagery. Subtly exotic and classically urban, Dishoom is a far cry from UK Indian restaurants, avoiding all expected clichés that come hand in hand with the territory, yet respecting the overlooked beauty of everyday India..........more
Restaurant Interior Design | Monsoon Restaurant | Park Hotel Bangalore | India | Project Orange Architects and Designers
Located in the Park Hotel Bangalore, one of India's first boutique hotels, the inspiration for Monsoon Restaurant is based in the setting of the surrounding area.
We always try to create a sense of place by making connections to the locale, and through our research we were captivated to discover that Karnataka is home to some 318 species of Butterflies. Some travel as much as 3000 miles in their short lives – so they represent another kind of traveller. We wanted to embed this motif into the walls of the space so designed a series of panels with intricate inlay work depicting groups of dancing Butterflies. While completing the projects looking out over the pool we were amazed to see a kaleidoscope of butterflies dancing over the water – maybe they had come to take a look?.......more

The interior of the new Wallop restaurants has been designed by Nigel Coates and his design team. By using serpentine banquettes, towering waiter stations and a series of interconnecting levels, his design defines many distinct areas. Coates has also imbued the project with a sense of theatre. Patrons will no doubt recognise some fittings from past Glyndebourne productions including a large-scale mural from La Traviata. The decor also features many props chosen from opera house productions. All the furniture has been designed by Coates, and forms part of his Scubist collection for Italian company Fratelli Boffi......more
Restaurant Interior Design | Grado | Manchester | England | Roger Stephenson Architects
Roger Stephenson Architects was appointed by Heathcotes Restaurants to design a high end Spanish restaurant in the heart of Manchester’s city centre. Restaurant Interior Design | Dim Sum Bar |Quito | Ecuador | Houde Sousa
Our primary objective was to design a restaurant with an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere that feels both contemporary and classic. This approach was born out of a close collaboration with the client, and in many ways arose from a set of furniture the client had previously purchased for the space. Because the chairs have such a distinctive appearance, we choose to design the restaurant harmoniously around the chairs themselves, rather than impose a new but conflicting style. Consisting of white leather cushions set on dark wood frames, the chairs most notably feature a ribbed backrest. These ribs, or stripes, closely resemble the dark security bars of the existing windows. This simple formal concurrence was enough to guide the remainder of the project.........more
Restaurant Interior Design | Phamish | Sydney | Facet Studio
Phamish is a Vietnamese Restaurant located at Darlinghurst, Sydney. We were approached by the owners to create a new image for Phamish using elements of “chrysanthemum” and “gold”. As we have had extremely limited space to work with, we started by thinking that if the “new image” we were creating not only serves as graphic design, it would be fantastic if it could also contribute in creating a sense of expansion in space.
From here we focused on the “partition” as a system which softly defines the spaces and is widely utilised in Asia, then decided to randomly locate five “partitions” which features both “chrysanthemum” and “gold”. As a result a space was formed between “partition” and the existing walls, which is where people can feel the sense of depth. Furthermore, by dividing the chrysanthemums into five panels, the void between the sliced-open chrysanthemums gives room for more imaginary chrysanthemum to form in the human brain.
By designing the effects created by the partitions, the imaginary pictures expand beyond the visible, and we believe this imaginary expansion ultimately links to the expansion in sense of space..............more
Restaurant Interior Design | The Tasting Room | Marina Square | Singapore | Studio SKLIM
A U-shaped band of black volumes reminiscent of wine bottles, encapsulate singular hues while being sandwiched between industrial aesthetics.

The restaurant’s vision was to refresh the perception of wine and food culture in Singapore by providing them at affordable prices.
